Roots, Fodder and Corn

Usually sited in front of the Horticultural marquee, are our entries for Roots, Corn and Fodder classes.

Each year we see a small increase in entry numbers for these classes and they provide a very interesting and effective display for all to see.

We are working with the Education and schools section of the show illustrating the process of growing corn from seed through the harvesting process and looking at the end results in terms of the food it produces.

Children and adults alike enjoy entering the roots classes, which include Potatoes, Fodder Beet, Mangolds, Maize and Kale.

Entry forms for our 2023 classes will be available shortly. For more details of the Roots, Corn & Fodder classes, competition rules please email secretary@flinthamshow.co.uk.

Please note: we are transitioning to online entry forms and ask please that you complete your entries this way by clicking the button above.

If you would prefer to download and complete a physical form as in previous years, you can do so using the button below. This won’t however be an option next year when all entries will be online only.
