Gates open at 8.30 am, the day is filled with country attractions and things to see and take part in. Our education zones is full of activities for all ages, trade and catering stands to peruse, and refreshments to enjoy from our bar & seated catering area with live music throughout the day.
This year we are thrilled to have so many attractions at the show, alongside new schools and colleges visiting and our sold out Hospitality area, our show is evolving and becoming a real celebration of our farming future and past.

We are thrilled to announce that a member of the Royal Family will be attending Flintham Show this year.
Whilst we can not disclose more about who is attending, we know this Royal will add much excitement and enjoyment to our day and we hope you are as excited as we are.
Shetland Pony Grand National
We will be welcoming the Shetland Pony Grand National and Ex jockley Bob Champion to our Main Ring this year. The most prestigious Shetland Racing Team in the UK that always puts on a fantastic show for visitors!
The Shetland Pony Grand National is an organisation, that raises money each year for a nominated charity. This year they will be raising money for the Bob Champion Cancer Trust.
A team of Children aged between 8-14 years old and Shetland ponies will join us for two heats of competition, culminating in a fiercely fought Grand Final to conclude entertainment in The Main Ring.
Lucinda and her Gundog Girls Brand team will be holding a Gundog Scurry at this years show!
If you fancy entering, the event is open to any gundog breed or gundog and involves an exciting retieving competition for dogs against the clock! The fastest dog wins, so lots of fun for trained dogs and pets alike.
All entries made on the day, £3 entry fee with re-entry permitted . Prizes 1 to 3 sponsored by Fullpip Ltd. All fund raised are going to be donated to the Gamekeepers Welfare Trust charity.
Traditional Horse and Tractor Ploughing
The show is steeped in tradition and is proud to stage the spectacle of the traditional horse and tractor ploughing competition which started the show over 100 years ago and is still a highlight today.
Vintage, classic, and modern tractors will take part in the competitions starting at 9am.
Tractor Train Rides
Hop on one of our charming tractor trains and take a tour around the show site. Whether you are a tractor enthusiast or want to take in the show from another perspective, our tractor rides will let you take it all in.
Our tractor trains will be taking visitors around the site throughout the day from a designated pick up / drop off point.
Forestry and Fishing
Join us around the pond to see state of the art tools and machinery which have made tree felling, pruning, chipping and planting far easier than ever before.
Our business partners Greenfield will demonstrate the art and skill behind this and will be joined by The National Hedge Layers Association, who will be happy to chat and answer questions visitors may have.
A highlight of our 100th show seeing the spectacle of 100 tractors from through the years take to the main ring. Not to be missed at 2pm.
Light Horse Ring Attractions
For all horse and riding enthusiasts we have a dedicated ring for entertainment throughout the day including Ridden Horse classses, Side Saddle and Working Hunter classes. Starting at 8.30am through to 3pm.
There will also be an exciting Horse and Carriage Display in the main ring at 3.30pm.
We have a great display of cattle & sheep at Flintham Show for all to see. Our cattle parade will take place in the main ring at 1.20pm. Visitors are welcome to come along and see the cattle being prepared for the show and to talk to the exhibitors.
