Tractor Ploughing

Since the original wager in 1912 using horses to pull the plough, classes have been introduced to accommodate the evolvement of the petrol-diesel engine.

Today we have classes from the smallest horticultural garden tractor which the ploughman walks behind to the large Does and modern computerised 4 wheel drive tractors.

The Vintage classes for tractor manufactured pre 1959 are very popular. Competitors also compete for the best turned out working vintage and static tractor.

For further information on any of the below, please contact Judith Montgomerie, Ploughing Secretary.
